I appreciate the quality of this case! The molded foam inserts seem to fit the spectro perfectly, and I no longer have to be as concerned about moving this from location to location! It also offers a good dust free option for storage when not using it! Delivery did take a while, but they were up front with me on that from the start and I agreed to wait! Thanks for a good product!

Can’t figure out the simplest thing - how to change type color. Spent a long time searching tutorial videos. Very frustrating. Going to require a lot of digging to figure out how to use this current version of Pitstop.

Short story, we are a new client with a new install of Pitstop Server. We went on the supplier website to purchase the product. Our original order didn't include the 1 yr of maintenance. After the completion of the purchase, we were told there was an update that wasn't communicated or listed on the website and we HAD to purchase the 1 yr of maintenance. I feel a little "strongarmed" into buying the maintenance agreement when I am a past user of the product and didn't feel I needed it. The software is installed and working properly. It is providing the service that I knew it would. Other than the add'l cost of the required maintenance, I'm happy with the purchase.

PitStop is definitely a must-have tool for prepress techs, and I wonder how I got by without for so many years! After subscribing for several months, I am overall pleased with the program and only have two suggestions for improvement:
1) I cannot easily find a way to have the document media, bleed, crop and trim lines show up as a default. I finally found a way (after much searching) for them to appear, but it would be nice to have it set up as preference to always make them appear by default. Maybe there is a way to do that, but I could not find it in Preferences, and I could not find anything about that on online support.
2)_The "Convert All Text To Outlines" doesn't always work. Not sure what it is about certain fonts that can't be converted if it they look clean and to be set as actual text in the PDF (as opposed to being an image). Improving that function so that it works every time would be a treat. :-)
If you pardon the pun colour deficiency is not a black and white issue. I have always been borderline on red green deficiency. With focus and concentration I can see some subtle differences. My grandfather was an Optemetrist and my mother an Optician so the Ishihara couloir dot test was commonly available around our home growing up. I knew my deficiency from early on. It was not until I learned of the Farnsworth D-15 test and the availability to order a set for myself that I finally had a chance to practice sorting colours for myself that I was able to make some progress. For me it was the professional marine industry tests that I was able to pass.
Excellent little booth which enables me to view prints beside my calibrated display. This helps me to fine tune my images better than I would otherwise be able. Booth illumination brightness can be adjusted to match that of the display.

The Eizo ColorEdge sets the bar in terms of color accuracy and ease of calibration. The self-calibration on a timer is simply the easiest way to keep the device at its best. Nothing else I have ever used comes close. Pricey, but so worth it, and RPImaging really went out of their way to provide great service.
We have been very pleased with the accuracy and improved workflow the eXact has afforded us. It’s ability to easily manage spot libraries for multiple customers through the computer interface is awesome! In addition, its repeatability is far superior to any other units I have ever used. I highly recommend spending a little more for something that will ultimately save you tons in manpower expense in the long run.
