The Inspector allows you to select an element, or small group of elements on a page and modify their parameters such as:

Preflight Profiles

Checking an entire document for problems and corrections:

Preflight Profiles can check a page or an entire document for parameters defined within the profile, make common corrections, and report on any problems that need attention.

PitStop Pro ships with many pre-defined profiles covering most common checks, however you can edit any profile and make adjustments to the checks and corrections to meet your production needs. Common settings include:
- Checking for PDF/X or GWG compliance

Global Changes

Changing an attribute or set of attributes on an entire document:

Global Changes are predefined changes supplied by Enfocus that can be applied to a element, page, or an entire document. Global Changes can not be modified, but many have settings that can be changed to meet your modification criteria. Common Global Changes include:
- Changing color models
- Remap fonts
- Converting fonts to outlines
- Add page numbers
- Extend bleeds
- Resample images

Action Lists

Changing the parameters of a single object type throughout a document:

Action Lists are the most powerful part of PitStop Pro as they contain all the checks, selections and adjustments available for PitStop Pro. With an Action Lists, you build a list of actions to make your final function based on stacking the actions in the correct logical order, similar to building a macro.

In the case of our example, the Action list would be built with a function to find all text with the color "Blue". Then a second function would convert the color from "Blue" to PMS 300. This Action List could then be saved and reused in the future.

With QuickRuns, your most common PitStop Pro functions can be quickly applied to a job.

QuickRuns allow you to build macros of Preflight Profiles, Global Changes, and Action Lists. These can be saved to your Favorites in the tool bar and accessible by keyboard shortcuts automatically assigned by PitStop Pro.

Free Shipping
Free shipping applies to orders over $900 and under 40lbs dimensional weight of the shipping box. Paint and replacement lamps are excluded. Free shipping is available to the contiguous 48 US states and for online purchases only.

We make every effort to get your product delivered as expediently as possible. Orders placed after 12:00 PM MST may not ship that day. RPimaging, INC may not have all items in stock. Domestic Shipping
RPimaging, INC does not guarantee any delivery time. Shipping terms (i.e. 2nd Day, 3rd Day delivery) refer to the time quoted by the shipper for delivery. These shipping terms do not refer to time from order submission to delivery. Shipper tracking numbers are provided, when available, the day after the product has shipped. Economy and Free shipping options are limited to the 48 contiguous US states. Freight shipment and packages over 40lbs are excluded from Economy and Free shipping offers. RETURN POLICY:

We strive to ensure you are satisfied with your purchase but understand that sometimes it's not a good fit. Below are our policies:
- No return will be accepted without a RMA (Return Material Authorization) number. Any return without a RMA number will be refused.
- You are responsible for return shipping costs.
- No refund or exchanges are allowed after 30 days from the invoice date.
- Returns are subject up to a 20% restocking fee. Most of the time restocking fees are nominal.
- All returned items must be 100% complete, in original resalable packaging, in resalable condition, with all packaging, manuals, registration cards, accessories, UPC codes intact, and software.
- Software products that use a serial number and not a dongle key can only be replaced with the same title and version if found to be defective.

Very complicated program now

Can’t figure out the simplest thing - how to change type color. Spent a long time searching tutorial videos. Very frustrating. Going to require a lot of digging to figure out how to use this current version of Pitstop.

Great, indisepensable tool!

PitStop is definitely a must-have tool for prepress techs, and I wonder how I got by without for so many years! After subscribing for several months, I am overall pleased with the program and only have two suggestions for improvement:

1) I cannot easily find a way to have the document media, bleed, crop and trim lines show up as a default. I finally found a way (after much searching) for them to appear, but it would be nice to have it set up as preference to always make them appear by default. Maybe there is a way to do that, but I could not find it in Preferences, and I could not find anything about that on online support.

2)_The "Convert All Text To Outlines" doesn't always work. Not sure what it is about certain fonts that can't be converted if it they look clean and to be set as actual text in the PDF (as opposed to being an image). Improving that function so that it works every time would be a treat. :-)
