    CM-26dG Portable Spectrophotometer

    • CM-26dG Portable Spectrophotometer

The CM-26dG spectrophotometer is a highly advanced and portable device that combines color and gloss measurement capabilities in one instrument. Its horizontal alignment allows it to fit into narrow spaces, making it suitable for precise measurement of smooth or textured samples. The ergonomic design ensures easy operation for both right and left-handed users, while optional Bluetooth™ and a high-resolution TFT color display enhance its usability in the field.

The spectrophotometer offers remarkable accuracy and inter-instrument agreement, usually found only in laboratory-grade equipment. This level of precision enables superior color communication throughout the supply chain. The chromaticity value inter-instrument agreement has been significantly improved by approximately 40% compared to previous models.

      Accuracy
      Ease of Use

The CM-26dG Spectrophotometer features a user-friendly interface that makes it easy to operate, even for novice users. It has a large LCD display that provides clear and easy-to-read measurement data, and it can be used with both the included software or third-party software.

The CM-26dG Portable Spectrophotometer comes with SpectraMagic NX colour measurement software package that can be used to interface with Konica Minolta instruments and provide extended reporting and analysis of colour and colour difference.

      Measurement Capability:

Because of the way supply chains are constantly being built and modified, data needs to be shared amongst increasingly more sites. This has made high repeatability and high inter-instrument agreement prerequisites for portable spectrophotometers. The CM-26dG and CM-26d realize the highest level of inter-instrument agreement amongst currently available portable spectrophotometers, at ΔE*ab 0.12 (BCRA average amongst 12 colors). And when measuring gloss, inter-instrument agreement of the CM-26dG is within ±0.2 GU (0-10 GU) or ±0.5 GU (10-100 GU). Moreover, repeatability is half that of predecessor models, at ıΔE*ab 0.02. The contribution to digital color data management that this level of performance offers will help manufacturers enhance quality management between their factories and suppliers

      Design and Build Quality

Designed to work in hard-to-reach places, the CM -26dG Series spectrophotometers allow users to take measurements where previous models could not. The nose is angled downward and rounded at the corners to get into cramped spots like dashboards at a point near the windshield. Moreover, the plastic target mask lessens the risks of scratching the sample. And there is a trigger button on both sides so that measurements can be taken stress-free in any sort of situation, no matter which hand you use.

      Connectivity

The CM-26dG Spectrophotometer features built-in USB and Ethernet connectivity that allows users to transfer measurement data directly to their computer or network. It also supports wireless connectivity options, including Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, for added convenience

      CM-CT1 Configuration Tool

The CM-26d comes with the CM-CT1 Configuration Tool software, which allows users to create and write instrument settings and compile them into a file to share within its supply chain to ensure consistent instrument settings.
