Color Navigator 7 Color Management Software

EIZO’s proprietary ColorNavigator 7 software makes monitor calibration easy and precise, helping you maintain accurate colors across projects. You can schedule automatic recalibrations, calibrate all color modes at once, and even sync with external sensors to align with your studio’s workflow. Since calibration data is saved directly to the monitor instead of the operating system, there's no need to recalibrate when switching between different PCs.

ColorNavigator Network Quality Control Software

ColorNavigator Network offers centralized quality control for ColorEdge monitors, making it ideal for studios, print houses, and teams working on shared creative projects. With ColorNavigator 7 or Net Agent installed, admins can manage and monitor multiple displays remotely via a web browser. Hosted on a secure cloud server, it eliminates the need for costly in-house infrastructure, streamlining color management across locations.

Sync Signal

The monitor's Sync Signal function automatically adjusts brightness, gamma, and color space based on the input signal’s metadata. This eliminates the need to manually switch color setting across multi-format projects, so users can be confident that they are always working with the correct settings.

HDR Gamma Curves

The ColorEdge CG2400S supports both HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma) and PQ (Perceptual Quantization) curves, allowing you to view and edit HDR content with greater realism—closer to how the human eye perceives light and color. Ideal for professional editing and color grading, it ensures true-to-life visuals. With ColorNavigator 7, you can also apply custom camera log profiles for accurate on-set monitoring during shooting.

Vivid Colors Reproduced to Industry Standards

This wide-gamut monitor covers 98% of DCI-P3 standard for digital cinema and supports BT.2020 broadcast color space. It reproduces 99% Adobe RGB color space, accurately displaying images captured in that profile. Additionally, it covers the full ISO Coated v2 and US Web Coated CMYK color spaces, making it ideal for print production.

True Black Display

Compliant with DCI standard, the monitor delivers an impressive 1800:1* contrast ratio, producing true blacks that standard LCD monitors struggle to achieve. The CG Series features a specialized retardation film that maintains rich tonal depth and clarity, even when viewed from different angles.

3D LUT for Accurate Color Display

The monitor features an advanced 3D LUT (look-up table) that adjusts colors on an RGB cubic table, enhancing color accuracy and neutral gray tones. Unlike standard 1D LUTs, which manage colors separately for red, green, and blue, the 3D LUT works on a unified color space, improving additive color mixing. With ColorNavigator 7's film emulation function, users can even emulate film-like color properties using a 3D LUT file.

10-Bit Simultaneous Display

Enjoy over 1 billion simultaneous colors with the 10-bit display driven by a 16-bit LUT. This is 64 times more colors than you get with 8-bit display resulting in smooth gradations and reduced Delta-E between two adjacent colors.

Broadcast and Cinema Presets

The CG2400S offers preset modes for DCI-P3, BT.709, and BT.2020 to ensure accurate work in specific color spaces and gamma values. It also includes presets for PQ (DCI and BT.2100) and HLG (BT.2100) for HDR content viewing. With its built-in calibration sensor, users can easily adjust or maintain brightness settings for each preset.

Luminance Warning

The ColorEdge CG2400S features the PQ Option function, allowing you to review PQ content at any brightness level. It highlights areas of the image that are clipped when displayed at a specific brightness, marking them in yellow or magenta.

Markers for Information Overlay

Ideal for captions and critical images: Thanks to the safe area marker, you will know which area of the screen is displayed on another output device. You will therefore see immediately whether subtitles, text, or other important image elements are within broadcast-safe zones. So that the marker can be clearly seen in all images, you can change the marker colour.

Pixel Inspection

Working with incorrect parameters can lead to costly delays and rework in production. The Pixel Inspection feature, accessible via the monitor's OSD, helps mitigate this by displaying the color information of a pixel from both the source input data and how it appears on the monitor, ensuring accurate editing decisions.

BT.709 Out-of-Gamut Warning

The Gamut Warning operates in two modes: it converts unviewable Rec. 2020 content to greyscale when displayed in the Rec. 709 gamut, or simulates clipping in Rec. 709 to show how Rec. 2020 material would appear on HDTV devices, helping you preview compatibility across different platforms.
