Feature Highlights

• Advanced proofing capabilities. EFI Designer Edition produces accurate color proofs in the creation stage, allowing designers to find and fix costly errors early, saving them time. It also simulates the accurate final press output. In addition, photographers easily can convert their RGB images to CMYK and produce color proofs that accurately simulate the final image digitally before going to the offset press.
• Accurate color. The solution includes several key features for advanced color management. Its Ugra/Fogra Media Strip 2.1 allows users achieve correct color, while Spot Color Editor supports an unlimited number of spot colors and libraries for Pantone®, HKS® and Toyo.
• Bright, vibrant printouts and perfect black and white pictures. The integrated "RGB workflow" guarantees the inkjet printer’s full color gamut, enabling users to achieve output with vivid, saturated colors. The simple gray scale conversion with five shades of gray ranging from warm to cold enables users to create several picture versions that communicate different moods and messages.
• Seamless integration with other applications. With Adobe® Configurable PostScript 3™, EFI Designer Edition integrates effortlessly with other illustration, photo and layout applications.
• Extended profile options. The flexible EFI Designer Edition includes reference profiles for selected printing methods such as offset or newspaper, and paper profiles for EFI media and printer manufacturer’s paper. If users prefer to create profiles, Profile Connector enables them to produce and integrate them into the workflow.
