The warranty period of the backlight is warranted only if the monitors are used within the recommended brightness of up to and including 100 cd/m2 for the CG221/CG211 and 120 cd/m2 for the CG241W with the color temperature between 5,000 K-6,500 K and limited to three (3) years from the date of purchase subject to the usage time being less than or equal to 10,000 hours.
- For the ColorEdge CG220, the LCD panel is limited to three (3) years and the backlight is limited to two (2) years from the date of purchase.
Features:
- Brightness and Color Uniformity with 12-Bit LUT NEW!
This ASIC has a 12-bit look-up table (LUT) with an extensive palette of 4,081 grayscale tones for each R, G, and B, and internal calculation accuracy of 16-bits (64 times more accurate than 10-bit internal calculation).
- Adobe RGB Coverage
The CG241 has an expanded color space that reproduces Adobe RGB, meaning it not only covers the sRGB color space supported by many standard monitors, but also CMYK color spaces used for printing.
- 6 ms Midtone Response Time
To enhance moving image playback capabilities, an overdrive circuit is included. An overdrive circuit vastly improves the LCD panel’s response time for changing between midtones or gray levels, which is necessary to display color images without blurring.
- 24.1-Inch Screen Supports 1920 x 1200 Resolution
The extra-wide 22.2-inch screen supports 1920 x 1200 resolution (16:10 aspect ratio), meaning that it can display a two-page A4 spread with no clipped edges.
- 16-Bit Processing
The 16-bit internal calculation produces grayscale rendering that is on par with high-end CRT monitors.
- Factory Adjustment of Gamma
To ensure that the EIZO ColorEdge CG241 produces the most accurate and consistent color gradations possible, EIZO carefully measures and sets every shade of R, G, and B from 0 - 255 on the production line with the monitor's 12-bit Look-Up Table (LUT), to produce a monitor gamma value of 1.8. If a different value is preferred, the bundled ColorNavigator software can be used to assign a value ranging from 1.9 0- 2.6 in increments of 0.1.
- ColorNavigator Calibration Software
This EIZO-developed software comes bundled with ColorEdge CE models and offers 12-bit hardware calibration when used with X-Rite or ColorVision measurement device.
- Macintosh ADC Support
Supports the Macintosh ADC (Apple Display Connector) port with an ADC-DVI converter (sold separately).
- Includes Black Hood
