    Resolve Common Problems

I want to calibrate my monitor.

I want my printer to match my monitor color.

Computer screens show color by projecting combinations of red, green, and blue (RGB) while printers create color by printing inks onto paper in combinations of cyan, magenta, yellow and black (CMYK).

To achieve a color match from your monitor to your printer the monitor and printer must both be calibrated and profiled. Profiling your printer allows a color management system to correctly translate colors to your paper. Learn more>>

I need to make color accurate proofs.

A RIP (Raster Image Processor) is the software that allows your printer to print in CMYK and the CMYK expanded colors by communicating directly to your printer using a language called PostScript. This bypasses the standard print driver of your printer, giving you a higher quality print.

Since RIPs support color measurement devices, you'll be able to accurately produce color through calibration and profiling of your printer. Additionally, each RIP offers unique tools that allow you to expand on your inkjet printer's capability. Learn more>>
